Warranty & Repairs

We want our customers to be extremely satisfied with our products and customer service. We have high quality standards and test all products with the accompanying drivers prior to shipment. If something goes wrong with a product or installation, we will do everything we can to develop a solution that you are happy with. Please keep in mind, we can only warrant installations that have followed the Lindsley Lighting instructions, ANSI standards and National Electric Code (NEC).

Warranty

When installed in accordance with Lindsley Lighting Installation Instructions, ANSI standards and current National Electric Code (NEC) all product materials and workmanship are warranted for five (5) years*. The Warranty only covers repairs due to defect and not misuse or improper installation. Warranty is voided if any unauthorized repairs or alterations are made. LEDs, LED modules, drivers and power supplies are covered by the extent of their manufacturers’ warranties.

Lindsley Lighting has the discretion to repair or replace all or part of any product returned for warranty. No claims for labor, performance, materials or delays will be accepted. Warranty is voided if improper use, installation or modification is made to any product. 

Exterior installations must comply with the NEC and local building codes for exterior applications.. Lindsley Lighting’s warranty is void if any indoor-rated wire or connections are used in an exterior application in conjunction with the installation of Lindsley Lighting products. 

*Outdoor products installed in marine environments or within one (1) mile of a saltwater coastline are required to have a marine grade paint finish specified, and are restricted to a (three) 3 year warranty.

 

Returns for Warranty

All products are eligible for warranty or repair.

Warranty and repair items must receive prior written authorization from Lindsley Lighting. Buyer is responsible for shipping to Lindsley Lighting. Lindsley Lighting will cover shipping back to the buyer. 

Warranty items must receive prior written authorization from Lindsley Lighting. The Lindsley Lighting Return Authorization must be included in the box with the fixture. All fixtures returned MUST be enclosed in a plastic bag and packaged properly to ensure no damage is incurred in transit.  Shipper must insure the fixture for the value paid.

 

Repairs 

In the event that the fixture is damaged during installation, Lindsley Lighting will accept the fixture back for reasonable repairs. Since all Lindsley Lighting fixtures use LEDs that require low voltage input directly to the fixture, ALL FIXTURES MUST BE ATTACHED TO A LINDSLEY LIGHTING PROVIDED DRIVER THAT REDUCES THE INCOMING LINE VOLTAGE TO THE LOW VOLTAGE REQUIRED BY THE SPECIFIC FIXTURE.  If, for example the fixture is installed directly to line voltage, it will SEVERELY DAMAGE the LEDs. If, this occurs, the fixture can be returned to Lindsley Lighting for repair. Lindsley Lighting will charge a fee for the replacement of the damaged LEDs and other related parts.

Other damages to the fixture incurred during installation or usage may also be eligible for repair. Depending on the repair, additional fees may be charged.

Repair items must receive prior written authorization from Lindsley Lighting. The Lindsley Lighting Return Authorization must be included in the box with the fixture. All fixtures returned MUST be enclosed in a plastic bag and packaged properly to ensure no damage is incurred in transit.  Shipper must insure the fixture for the value paid.

 

Returns for Credit

Products may only be returned with prior written authorization from Lindsley Lighting. Approved returns must be accompanied by Lindsley Lighting Return Authorization form. Buyers are responsible for all freight and insurance charges. 

Requests to return products for credit must be made within 60 days from final invoice date. Return Authorizations are valid for 30 days. Products accepted for return are subject to a 50% restocking charge. Products must arrive at the factory in new resalable condition. No credit will be issued for products that are improperly packaged and damaged in transit.

Non-stock, modified, custom design or color and discontinued items are not returnable. 

The Lindsley Lighting Return Authorization must be included in the box with the fixture. All fixtures returned MUST be enclosed in a plastic bag and packaged properly to ensure no damage is incurred in transit. Products must arrive at the factory in new resalable condition. No credit will be issued for products that are improperly packaged and damaged in transit. Shipper must insure the fixture for the value paid.
